San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns is expected to play in the team's potential series clincher on Wednesday against the Ducks despite exiting Game 3 with an injury and not taking part in the morning skate. He missed the last 10 minutes of an 8-1 win on Monday, so it was likely a precautionary move, but it's not a good sign that they are limiting his minutes. Burns started the series against Anaheim superbly, recording nine shots on goal and sending one effort into the net in Game 1, but he hasn't done much else since then, finishing without any points and recording only three shots in total.
