New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider will get the start in Game 3 as the Devils look to win their first game of the series. Keith Kinkaid started both of the losses and allowed five goals in Game 2 before Schneider replaced him. In Schneider’s relief appearance, he stopped all 10 of the shots he faced and the Devils were able to cut their four-goal deficit in half. Although it was a short appearance, it was encouraging as Schneider struggled to end the regular season and finished with his career-low .907 save percentage. Schneider has a .925 save percentage in the playoffs over 11 career games, and he will need to perform at that level if the Devils are going to win. Consider Schneider a risky gamble, at best, for Game 3 and look for stronger options in net.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
