Los Angeles Kings defenseman Kevin Gravel looks set to play his first Stanley Cup playoff game Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights, as he replaced the suspended Drew Doughty at the morning skate. Gravel skated on the bottom pairing with Christian Folin. He's a speedy blue liner who appeared in 19 regular season games for the Kings, getting three assists but no goals with 20 shots on goal. After spending most of the 2016-17 season with the big club, the 26-year-old Michigan native had a really tough offseason, as he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, losing 40 pounds at one point. Maybe his great comeback story will continue in the Stanley Cup playoffs this year. Alec Martinez will take Doughty's place on the top pairing alongside Oscar Fantenberg.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
