DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/10/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 10, 2018. Tom Vecchio's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a massive 12 game slate where there are some bigtime aces on the mound, so you will certainly want to be spending up for them. Coors Field is also on the slate, so the hitters from there should all make solid plays.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/10/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings Starting Pitchers

As I mentioned above, we are dealing with a full slate where we have a few aces in play, who in all honesty, are pretty obvious plays. With that said, I won't be discussing them, which will allow us to look at some cheaper options.

Patrick Corbin - P, ARI @ SFG (DK - $9,500)

Corbin is just a bit cheaper than the top tier of pitchers but is in a good spot to continue his hot start. In his first two games, he has put up 24 and 43 DraftKings points, while racking up 20 strikeouts over that span. He is now in San Francisco, which is a major positive park shift for him being away from Chase Field. He is up against the Giants, who have a 22% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers to start the season. That isn't the highest or the lowest, but they are one of the weaker offensive teams to start the season, so they are fine to attack. Makes a good pivot off of the top pitchers, or an SP2, if you have the salary.

Aaron Nola - P, PHI vs CIN (DK - $8,200)

Nola is a pitcher who is on a lot of people's radar, as he is a pitcher who has shown some upside last year. Tonight he is up against the Reds who have a 23% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season. Nola has put up two very average outings to start the season but is in a nice spot for a bit of a bounce back. On a slate this size, the high-end pitchers are the clear top options, while some in this middle range can often go overlooked. He is a borderline SP2 since there are other pitchers with better strikeout stuff in his range, but offers a bit of salary, and truly does have good upside.

DraftKings Infielders

Yadier Molina - C, STL vs MIL (DK - $3,600)

Molina had a .347 wOBA and a .275 ISO last season vs left-handed pitchers, and is off to a strong start this year vs them, as he has a .680 wOBA. Nice little four-game hitting streak for him right now, and is one of the peskier hitters at the plate for pitchers. Always seems to be up in a spot to do damage, and often pulls through. He is up against Suter, who gave up 1.06 HR/9 last season to right-handed hitters, so some sneaky homerun upside here.

Joey Votto - 1B, CIN @ PHI (DK - $4,300)

Votto is still too cheap, and you should be looking to have him in your lineups tonight. Votto had a 168 wRC+ and a .257 ISO last season vs right-handed pitchers, putting him in a good spot tonight. He also has a super high on-base percentage, which may not directly translate to fantasy points, but he is always putting himself in a spot to make an impact. Whether its walks, runs or hits, he will find a way to get it done.

Jed Lowrie - 2B, OAK @ LAD (DK - $3,500)

Guess what? Lowrie is still cheap, and his price will never rise. You should be playing him on most slates since he offers a bit of salary savings, and is very consistent. Right now he is tied for second most hits in the league, yet he is still under $4K. See why I mean he is too cheap? Last season he had a 105 wRC+ and a .144 ISO vs left-handed pitchers. Now those numbers won't blow you away, but he has what it takes to put points on the board, and doesn't break the bank.

Nolan Arenado - 3B, COL vs SDP (DK - $5,500)

Arenado was a bit of a bust last night, but hey, baseball is a high variance spot. Go right back to the well tonight, since he is up against a left-handed pitcher yet again, and he crushed them. Last season he had a .534 wOBA and a .420 ISO vs left-handed pitchers. This game is at Coors Field, and he is super expensive, but the upside is there, and he has the history vs LHP.

Jean Segura - SS, SEA @ KAN (DK - $3,700)

Really like this spot for Segura tonight, and has some nice power upside. He is up against Eric Skoglund, who only pitched a handful of innings last year, and didn't fair well against right-handed hitters, as he gave up a .441 wOBA and 1.13 HR/9. Segura isn't expensive and last season he had a 124 wRC+ and a .114 ISO vs left-handed pitchers. The Mariners got kicked around last night, so a nice bounce-back spot for them against a weak and inexperienced pitcher.

DraftKings Outfielders

Yoenis Cespedes - OF, NYM @ MIA (DK - $4,800)

Cespedes and the Mets are off to a hot start this season, with Cespedes trailing a bit behind, but always has home run upside. Not the best cash game play since the consistency isn't there, but three of his seven hits this year are home runs. That is the type of home run upside you want from a player who had a 129 wRC+ and a .321 ISO vs left-handed pitchers last season. May not be the best hitters park, but the power is certainly there.

Justin Upton - OF, LAA @ TEX (DK - $4,300)

Upton had a 201 wRC+ and a .384 ISO vs left-handed pitchers last season, which are elite level numbers, and the type of player you want in your lineup. This is a positive park shift for him being at Texas, and now up against Perez, who gave up a .362 wOBA and 1.28 HR/9 to right-handed hitters last season. He also makes a nice addition to an Angels stack, which should be popular tonight.
