Baseball is my favorite daily fantasy sport of the year. Well, I also love MMA. Overall, I like MLB more, though, and it's a great year to be a Mets fan (like me)!

Who's ready to get down to business for the MLB season?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/8/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Colorado Rockies - Anytime the Rockies are playing at home, they deserve to be considered. The ball soars in Colorado, and we should see tons of runs in the series. Colin Rea will be taking the mound for the Padres, and he really struggled last season. I don't see that changing, and the Rockies are a great stack in all leagues.

San Diego Padres - The Padres also get the Coors boost, and their team is a bit cheaper to stack than the Rockies. They aren't nearly as good of an offense, but you don't need to be when you get a great matchup in Colorado. The Padres should have no problems scoring runs tonight, and they can also be used in all leagues.

New York Mets - The Mets got off to somewhat of a slow offensive start against the Royals, but that is going to change in this series. The Phillies have one of the worst staffs in the MLB, and the Mets have a great offense. They were surprisingly a better offense at home last season, and that could continue this year. They can also be used in all leagues.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Jacob deGrom - deGrom gets a great matchup against the Phillies, who have one of the worst offenses in the MLB. He's a tremendous pitcher, and he will be throwing in one of the more pitcher friendly stadiums in the MLB. He is a huge favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.

Chris Tillman - Tillman started the season off with five strikeouts and no hits in two innings before being pulled because of a rain delay. That was against a strong Minnesota offense, and he'll get a much easier matchup against the Rays tonight. Tillman is extremely cheap tonight, and he can be used in all leagues.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Francisco Cervelli - Cervelli looks like he may have taken the next step as a hitter this season. He has played well in each of his first three games, and he has shown a great combination of consistency and upside. He can be used in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Ben Paulsen - Paulsen is splitting time at first for the Rockies, but he should draw the start against the right-handed pitcher tonight. He has tremendous upside for his low price, and he's a cheap way to get a bit of the Rockies offense on your team.

Second Base (2B)

Neil Walker - Walker is hitting in a great spot in the Mets lineup, and he should be able to drive in a ton of RBIs this season. He'll face a right-handed pitcher today, and Walker is a much more powerful player from the left-side of the plate. He's a great option if you're looking to stack the Mets today.

Shortstop (SS)

Trevor Story - Story's price took a bump for today, but he's still a tremendous option. He has homered four times in his first three games, and he will now be playing in Colorado tonight. He gets a great matchup against Rea, and it wouldn't be surprising if he goes yard again today.

Third Base (3B)

Jake Lamb - Lamb has been playing well this season, and he looks like he's going to continuously progress as a hitter. He gets a good matchup against Hammel, and Lamb is a great hitter against right-handed pitching. With that being said, he may be best suited for GPPs.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Carlos Gonzalez - This is a recommendation for every Colorado outfielder tonight. They get a great matchup against an easy right-handed pitcher, and the Rockies should be able to score plenty tonight. They all have great upside, and they can be used in all leagues.

Dexter Fowler - Fowler has been on fire to start the season, and he's hitting in the beginning of the Cubs lineup. That gives him great upside, as they have one of the best offenses in the MLB. Fowler should continue to dominate, and he has played well against left-handed pitching. He can be used in all leagues.

Adam Duvall - Duvall is more of a GPP play tonight, as he has tremendous power, but doesn't hit for a high average. He gets a matchup against Liriano, which is tough, but Duvall can hit left-handed pitching well. He can be used in GPPs tonight.
