NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Basketball Advice for 3/11/16

DeMarcus Cousins is suspended again...

This is not really all that surprising, as he has been suspended in the past. It does, however, open up quite a bit of value, which will allow for players like Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook to slide into your lineup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy NBA lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/11/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry (vs POR, $10,600)

Stephen Curry has been up and down over his past couple of games, which has lowered his price tag. This should be capitalized on in tournaments. In his last four games, he has two games over 45 fantasy points and one game over 60 fantasy points. He has insane upside, and the Portland Trailblazers are not going to be able to slow him down. Damian Lillard plays extremely well in big games, so he will be trying his best to keep the Blazers in the game. However, Curry does not like to be out-shined, so he will be doing his best to beat out Dame. Avoid him in 50/50 contests in favor of Russell Westbrook.

Ishmael Smith (vs BKN, $6,700)

Ish Smith has been playing well for the Philadelphia 76ers of recent. He did not look great in his last game against the Houston Rockets, but he did score over 20 regular points for the third straight games. Unfortunately, his rebounds were down, which is something that is kind of out of his control. Big men are obviously going to be able to out-rebound him. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, and he should return to 30-40 plus fantasy points like he generally scores. For his price tag, that is solid. The Nets are horrendous on defense, and Smith is starting to heat it. The stars are aligned here.

Shelvin Mack (vs WAS, $4,000)

Shelvin Mack is playing well for his current price tag. In his last four games, he has three games over 20 fantasy points and one game over 30. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Washington Wizards, and he should be able to take advantage of John Wall's aggressive style of play. Wall loves to push the pace of the game, but he focuses more on offense than he does defense. Mack is a great scorer and assister, so a double-double tonight is possible. Use him in all formats because his price tag is just too low right now.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant (vs MIN, $10,900)

Kevin Durant has continued his streak of 50 plus fantasy points games. He now has 50 plus fantasy points in seven straight games. There is absolutely no slowing him down right now. The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the worst defenses in the league, and Durant should easily dominate tonight's matchup. He has 30 or more regular points in four straight games now, and his upside is through the roof. Use him in 50/50 contests due to his consistency and in tournaments due to his great upside.

Nikola Mirotic (vs MIA, $4,800)

Nikola Mirotic is playing decent minutes for the Chicago Bulls right now. In his last game, which was against the San Antonio Spurs, he posted 26 fantasy points in 28 minutes of action. The Spurs have a solid defense, and they shut down Mirotic for the most part. The encouraging part about that game is Mirotic's increased minutes. In the game prior, he played 20 minutes and posted 28.7 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Miami Heat. So, if he gets enough minutes, he should easily crush value. It would not be out of the question to expect around 30 minutes and 30 plus fantasy points from the Bull's small forward tonight.

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs ORL, $3,500)

Surprise, surprise - Demarcus Cousins is suspended again. That means that Willie Cauley-Stein should see around 25 minutes tonight against the Orlando Magic. He has not been playing really at all of recent. However, around six or seven games ago, he was consistently posting over 20 fantasy points. His price tag is as low as it can go, and he is going to see legitimate court time tonight, so this is basically a no-brainer. Use him in all formats, as he is almost guaranteed to hit value.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Kosta Koufos (vs ORL, $3,500)

Speaking of players almost guaranteed to hit value, Kosta Koufos is going to see big minutes tonight as well. He is benefitting from DeMarcus Cousins' suspension, just like WCS. In his last game, Koufos posted 11.8 fantasy points in 11 minutes of court time. That is over one fantasy points per minute, and he was barely involved in the offense. Tonight, he should be more involved, as he is going to play more minutes, and those more minutes should lead to more production. It is not out-of-this-world to expect around 30 minutes and 25-35 fantasy points from Koufos tonight. Use him in all formats.
