DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 12/14/15

New Orleans is one of my favorite vacation spots. Unfortunately, I have fun picking on their basketball team as well. It's hard not to. Same with the Houston Rockets.

Tonight's lineup features a couple of big names, either attempting to reclaim glory or continue their climb to prestige, as well as a veteran looking to make the most of his recent, ephemeral promotion to the starting rotation, players that are hot, and those looking to exploit the many weaknesses of many teams in the NBA.

Check out my Daily NBA picks for DraftKings, 12/14/15.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

Jameer Nelson (vs HOU, $4,200)

In relief of the injured Emmanuel Mudiay Friday night, Nelson dropped 20 points, dished out seven assists, grabbed six rebounds and picked up two steals in 38 minutes. According to CBSSports.com, Mudiay has officially been ruled out on Monday, which means Nelson will likely once again step into the starting lineup. Nelson's Friday night performance was his season best, also draining four three pointers on seven attempts. The Houston Rockets surrender 9.8 steals a night, most in the NBA, and 24.0 assists a contest, second most in the league.

John Wall (at MEM, $9,700)

Wall has been straight fire of late. He's scored 26 points in four straight games, and has picked up three consecutive double-doubles. Wall has also dropped over 25 points in seven of his last eight games, on a Wizards team that has underachieved all season. Now with Bradley Beal set to miss an extended amount of time, Washington will depend on Wall for production even more.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

C.J. McCollum (vs NO, $6,900)

The team playing in the Big Easy has easily helped out daily fantasy lineups this season. New Orleans relinquishes 108.4 points a game, most in the league, 39.7 field goals a game, third most, 85.6 field goal attempts, seventh most, and own a .463 opponent field goal percentage, third highest, and a .396 opponent three point percentage, second highest. Need I continue? I will. In two games prior to Friday night's loss to the New York Knicks, McCollum nailed nine of 16 from downtown, and shot well over 50 percent from the field.

Raymond Felton (vs PHO, $4,900)

In the absence of Deron Williams Friday night, Felton was on the court for 38 minutes and made the most of all of them. Finishing the game with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, Felton picked up his first triple-double of the season and exploded onto fantasy scoresheets. Friday night marked the fifth straight night of over 25 fantasy points; eight straight over 20 overall. Felton is cheap and heads into a matchup against a Phoenix Suns squad that is tied for the highest opponent field goal percentage in the league of .467.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs NO, $5,200)

Aminu is the best small forward on Portland, by far. Not necessarily because he starts, but because he's proven it this season. He enters a matchup against the Pelicans who give up the fourth most rebounds at 35.9 a night. Despite his inconsistency, Aminu is a consistent double-double threat, for a relatively inexpensive price.

Danilo Gallinari (vs HOU, $6,900)

Gallinari is coming off his best fantasy performance in eight games, and now faces the Rockets who give up 106.8 points a game, fourth most in the NBA. Houston also owns the highest opponent field goal percentage in the league, tied with the Pelicans, at .467 percent. Gallinari has dropped 20+ points in three of his last four contests. In two other games facing Houston this season, Gallinari scored 27 and 23 points.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Paul George (vs TOR, $9,900)

(He's listed as a small forward on DraftKings, but shhh. Not like this guy has a designated position. He does everything). Anyway, how do we ignore Paul George? I don't care that he's had two sub-par fantasy performances in a row. Guess what that means? His price dropped out of the five digit range. George will enter a battle showcasing two of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, in what should be a close game of the Pacers and Raptors competing throughout. Nothing worries me about George's two eh-games. PG13 will be back to fine form Monday night.

Taj Gibson (vs PHI, $4,400)

Gibson has been starting recently for the struggling and fantasy-performance-declining Nikola Mirotic. Simple enough, Gibson can do just what he needs to do for his price to make daily fantasy owners happy. He's more than capable of scoring in double digits or grabbing double digit rebounds. The Philadelphia 76ers let up 36 rebounds a game, with a negative 5.2 rebound differential.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic (at BK, $6,800)

Vucevic has six double-doubles in his last nine games; a stat I can't ignore for his relatively cheaper price. My man Vucevic is heading to the Barclays Center, about to face a Nets team that has surrendered over 100 points in five straight games. The Nets have been a tough out this season but they're just not that good. Watch for Vucevic to pick up another double-double and light up fantasy scoresheets.
