Dante Moore Not Entering 2026 NFL Draft, Will Return to Oregon
Oregon quarterback Dante Moore is not entering the 2026 NFL Draft. The 20-year-old rising junior was projected by many to be the No. 2 overall pick this year, but he has decided to stay in Eugene for at least one more season. After beginning his career at UCLA in 2023, Moore sat behind Dillon Gabriel in 2024 at Oregon. He took over the starting role in 2025, passing for 3,565 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 15 games. Moore led the Ducks to the College Football Playoff Semifinals in Year 1 as a starter, and the Ducks will be among the title favorites in 2026-27 based on his return to school. With another season under his belt, Moore should be better prepared for the NFL heading into the 2027 NFL Draft. Assuming his play doesn't mightily regress mightily in 2026, he'll be a top prospect next year. Nebraska transfer quarterback Dylan Raiola now projects to serve as Moore's backup for one season.
