Divisional Round FLEX Outlooks for Fantasy Football

DJ Moore, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore caught six of seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers. He also lost five yards rushing. The highlight of Moore's game was a 25-yard touchdown catch with just 1:48 left in the fourth quarter. The score put Chicago ahead 31-27, and that score would hold for the final 108 seconds as the Bears completed an improbable comeback and punched their ticket to the Divisional Round.

Moore was relatively underwhelming as just the WR35 in full-PPR leagues this year, but there's no denying that he has a flair for the dramatic. He has scored game-winning touchdowns in each of the Bears' last two games against the Packers, and he has scored at least 17.9 full-PPR fantasy points in three of his last five games. The 28-year-old will look to stay hot as the Bears advance to face the Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday that it was "precautionary" when asked why tight end Dalton Kincaid (leg) was in a walking boot following Sunday's Wild-Card victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg. McDermott also said that Kincaid "should be fine" to play in the Divisional Round of the playoffs this Saturday versus the hosting Denver Broncos. The 26-year-old third-year tight end caught three of his five targets on Sunday for 28 yards and a touchdown in the 27-24 win.

However, he played only 28 offensive snaps after dealing with both knee and hamstring injuries late in the regular season. Fantasy managers would like to see Kincaid on the field more, but that might not happen if he's not 100% the rest of the postseason. Still, he'll be in play as a TE1 in fantasy football lineups if he's active against Denver. Kincaid has a team-high six receiving scores this year.

Terrance Ferguson, Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Monday that he's optimistic that rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) will play against the Chicago Bears on Sunday in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, according to Gary Klein of The Los Angeles Times. Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury in Week 17 and has missed the last two games, including Saturday's Wild-Card victory over the Carolina Panthers on the road.

The 22-year-old rookie tight end scored touchdowns in each of the last two games that he played in against the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks, but that was also when Tyler Higbee was still on Injured Reserve. Higbee is now back in the fold, and the Rams also have Colby Parkinson at the position, which will likely leave a very small role for Ferguson if he returns in the Divisional Round this Sunday in Chicago.

Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland caught eight of his 15 targets for 137 yards during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers. Loveland's impressive rookie campaign continued as he set new personal-best marks in targets and yards. He now has 24 catches, 322 yards, and two touchdowns over his last three games.

According to Jacob Gibbs of CBS Sports, the 21-year-old's big game made him just the second tight end in NFL history to record at least 10 targets and at least 130 yards in a playoff game at age 22 or younger. He joins just Rob Gronkowski in that select group. Loveland will look to remain hot as the Bears advance to face either the Eagles or Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was officially diagnosed with a torn Achilles following Sunday's Wild Card victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed. The superstar tight end suffered a non-contact injury while catching a pass during the second quarter. Video from the FOX broadcast appeared to show a pop in the back of Kittle's leg, and he was carted to the locker room in visible pain. The 49ers quickly ruled him out with an Achilles injury, and it was later confirmed to be a tear.

The 32-year-old will now embark on a lengthy recovery process. Not only is he done for the 2025 playoffs, but he could miss the start of the 2026 regular season. If so, he'll likely drop several spots in the 2026 fantasy football draft tight end rankings. Jake Tonges should step up as the 49ers' top tight end for the rest of the playoffs before he becomes a restricted free agent in March. In the six games that Kittle missed during the regular season, Tonges totaled 29 catches, 269 yards, and three touchdowns. He caught just one pass for 14 yards in Kittle's absence this Sunday.

Who Should I Start? Who Should I Sit? Some common Divisional Round fantasy football lineup decisions are regarding players like Courtland Sutton, Khalil Shakir, Jauan Jennings, D'Andre Swift, Luther Burden III, DJ Moore, and Hunter Henry. But not to worry, we are here to help make these decisions and build winning lineups.

Divisional Round Player Decisions. Set your optimal fantasy football lineups for the Divisional Round. Our free Who Should I Start? tool will help make your fantasy football lineup decisions. Compare up to four NFL players, and we tell you who to start... all free! Get your winning lineups set, and make the right decisions.

Using The Tool. This is a simple tool but very powerful. The first step is to enter the player names that you want to compare. In the first box, search for the first player's name. In the second box, search for the second player's name. Compare up to four NFL players at once, and then click the Who To Start? button to see who the recommended starts are based on weekly fantasy football matchups.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed, we've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, enhanced search results with data to compare, and a slick new interface. We hope you enjoy!

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this tool. When you search for player names, you will only see those players who are ranked. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circles), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
