Kyler Murray's QB1 Status in Arizona Uncertain?
Kyler Murray (foot) remains the team's starter, Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort said, "We're going to continue to try and get Kyler where he can get back to doing the things he can do on the field. When he's doing that, he'll be out there." Murray missed Week 6 due to a foot injury and is in danger of missing his team's Week 7 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. While Ossenfort implied that Murray will take the field once healthy, he didn't exactly provide a ringing endorsement of his 28-year-old quarterback. Murray has had an up-and-down season, completing 68.3% of his pass attempts for 962 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions across five games. With Murray sidelined in Week 6, veteran Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw for 320 yards and nearly led the team to an upset victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Regardless of Murray's health status, it appears the team is at least exploring all of its options under center.
