Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Kendrick Bourne, WR, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne set a new career-high in receiving yards in Week 5. With Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) out of the picture due to injuries, Bourne caught 10 of his 11 targets for 142 yards in the 49ers' 26-23 win over the Rams.
Pearsall has already been declared out for Week 6 and Jennings is listed as questionable, meaning Bourne could see heavy involvement on Sunday. With Brock Purdy (toe) also out, Mac Jones (knee, oblique) will draw another start.
Jones has been solid in relief and was under center for Bourne's massive game last week, so the quarterback change does not signal a downgrade for the receiver's prospects. Bourne projects as a low-end WR3 against the Buccaneers.
Elic Ayomanor, WR, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor had a two-catch, 18-yard showing in the Week 5 meeting with the Arizona Cardinals. While that performance didn't sit well with fantasy managers, the rookie has played relatively well in an offense that's struggled throughout the 2025 campaign.
In Ayomanor's first five games in the league, he's totaled 14 grabs (29 targets) for 169 yards. He also leads the team with two receiving touchdowns. With the Titans coming off their first win of the year, Tennessee will look to pick up another victory on Sunday against the Raiders. Without question, Las Vegas hasn't looked the best either, so Cam Ward and company have a chance to get something going on the offensive end.
However, even with a favorable opportunity on the horizon, Ayomanor's lack of volume this season means he'll need to find the end zone, or fantasy managers will likely be extremely disappointed. With that in mind, the 22-year-old can be viewed as a desperation flex choice in 12-team leagues and up.
Tyjae Spears, RB, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears is not a reliable fantasy option heading into Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Spears returned from injured reserve last weekend, rushing for 14 yards on four carries in his season debut.
The 24-year-old played one-quarter of the offensive snaps, and reporting out of Tennessee indicates that the Titans are gradually going to get Spears more involved. Tony Pollard has run well enough in the lead-back role to justify easing Spears into a split backfield, rather than feeding him double-digit touches in his first couple of weeks back.
As a result, managers will need to continue expressing patience with the young running back. He's not a reliable fantasy starter this week, while Pollard is headed for a sizable role once again.
Tucker Kraft, TE, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has had a solid start to his second season as the full-time starting tight end for the Packers and looks to come off the team's Week 5 bye on the right foot when the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6.
In Week 4, Kraft could only manage five targets with five receptions for 56 yards against the Cowboys in Green Bay's 40-40 tie. Kraft has been one of the best pass-catchers on the team this season, but even he is not immune to some of the things that plague the Packers' offense, like a lack of target concentration and pass volume concerns.
Those factors bog down the upside case of the top Packers' pass-catchers and render the secondary pass-catchers irrelevant in most weeks. Kraft is a volatile boom-or-bust option with an inconsistent target-earning profile, but Week 6 represents a good matchup against the Bengals. Kraft is a fine start for fantasy purposes.
Jake Tonges, TE, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges tied wide receiver Kendrick Bourne for a team-high 11 targets in Week 5. Tonges turned his looks into seven catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco's 26-23 win over the Rams.
The tight end was afforded extra opportunities with Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) inactive due to injuries. In Week 6, Pearsall will again be out, and Jennings is listed as questionable on the 49ers' final injury report. Tonges hasn't been compiling much yardage while standing in for George Kittle (hamstring), but he has scored in three separate games.
On Sunday, San Francisco will face the Buccaneers, who allowed two touchdowns each to Dallas Goedert and AJ Barner in their last two games. Tonges has high-end TE2 potential for the contest, so long as Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is able to suit up.
