With Dallas Cowboys running back Miles Sanders (ankle, knee) ruled out in Week 5 against the New York Jets on Sunday, rookie fifth-rounder Jaydon Blue will be active for his NFL debut at MetLife Stadium, according to Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Blue impressed the coaching staff with his playmaking ability during training camp and the preseason, but he was a healthy scratch in each of the first four games of the year. The 21-year-old will get his opportunity in Week 5 with Sanders banged up, although Javonte Williams will most likely remain Dallas' bell-cow back, leaving little work for Blue and Hunter Luepke on Sunday. It's unclear if Sanders will miss time beyond Week 5, but right now, the rookie is merely a bench stash for those with Williams rostered or for fantasy managers hurting at the RB position.--Keith Hernandez
