Updated mid-week fantasy football waiver wire rankings for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. Top fantasy football free agents and streamers to add off waivers.
There has been a rash of injuries as of late, with James Conner, CeeDee Lamb, Najee Harris, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. set to miss anywhere from weeks to the season. We have updated waiver wire rankings for fantasy football Week 4 of the 2025 season to help fantasy managers find those injury replacements. As the week proceeds and more injury reports are confirmed, we tweak and adjust our waiver wire rankings for all positions.
Several rookies may be emerging, like Luther Burden III, who racked up 101 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Cowboys, while Ollie Gordon II found the end zone in Thursday's loss to the Bills. Fantasy managers will need to find a replacement for James Conner and Najee Harris, who both had season-ending injuries. Additionally, managers will need to scour the waiver wire to replace Mike Evans and CeeDee Lamb, who are set to miss a few weeks.
These Week 4 waiver wire rankings are updated by Nick Mariano, RotoBaller's lead fantasy football analyst and forecaster. For those who are not familiar, he brings you his weekly waiver wire rankings and priority adds for the top 85 options to consider across various positions and league sizes. Good luck in Week 4 on the waiver wire!

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Some of the top names include Luther Burden III, Kimani Vidal, Tyquan Thornton, Woody Marks, Tre Tucker, and Harold Fannin Jr. We recap why these players should be on your waiver wire radar for Week 4.
Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) was seen practicing on Wednesday as he moves closer to potentially making his 2025 debut in Week 4 on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Godwin has not played yet this year after suffering a serious dislocated left ankle in Week 7 of last season. The 29-year-old has been practicing the last few weeks, though, and has been targeting a potential Week 4 return.
The Bucs could really use his presence now with Mike Evans (hamstring) expected to miss a couple of weeks, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Godwin is eased back into the offense if he's active this weekend. How much Godwin can do in practice this week will determine if he'll actually play against the Eagles. With Evans out, rookie Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard should be heavily targeted.
Kimani Vidal, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said that running back Kimani Vidal will be the "next man up" after Najee Harris suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday, according to Alex Insdorf. Harbaugh also said that general manager Joe Hortiz will be "scouring the market" to see what else is available at the RB position.
The Chargers are expected to lean on rookie first-rounder Omarion Hampton as their lead back moving forward, with Harris done for the year, with Vidal and Hassan Haskins mixing in behind him in change-of-pace duties. Vidal, a former sixth-rounder in 2024, did not make the active 53-man roster out of training camp and was sent to the practice squad.
The 24-year-old averaged 3.6 yards per carry for 155 rushing yards on 43 attempts in his rookie season. Vidal can probably remain on the waiver wire for now in most single-year fantasy leagues.
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum gained 53 yards on eight carries in Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Los Angeles collapsed late after commanding a significant lead over the reigning Super Bowl champions. Still, Corum continued to see an increase in his volume for the second straight week. Backfield mate Kyren Williams had handily outsnapped him 92-28 through the first two weeks, and did so again on Sunday (50-16).
However, the 24-year-old has been the more efficient runner, posting three yards more per carry than his veteran counterpart (7.1). Corum won't be seizing the RB1 role in LA any time soon, but he's firmly on the high-end handcuff radar. We'll see if he can continue trending up when the Rams take on the surprise 3-0 Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.
Tyquan Thornton, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyquan Thornton has exceeded expectations through the first three weeks of the 2025 season and "has been a larger contributor for the offense than anyone on the team could have expected when the season began three weeks ago," according to ESPN's Nate Taylor. Thornton led the team with five catches for a career-high 71 yards in Sunday night's win over the New York Giants, including a touchdown.
The 25-year-old has stepped up with Rashee Rice suspended and Xavier Worthy (shoulder) injured, and he's quickly developed strong chemistry with quarterback Patrick Mahomes. KC has used Thornton's speed to exploit man-to-man coverages, and Mahomes has completed a deep pass to him in all three games. Mahomes is averaging 25.2 air yards when targeting Thornton.
Although Thornton's role will almost certainly shrink when the Chiefs get both Rice and Worthy back, the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder deserves a look on the waiver wire right now for those hurting at the receiver position. He's rostered in only 4% of Yahoo leagues.
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. caught three of his four targets for 25 yards in a 13-10 upset win over the Green Bay Packers. While Fannin didn't post gaudy numbers in the surprising win, he tied for third on the team in targets and receiving yards on a day where Cleveland focused on their run game, only throwing for 142 yards.
Fannin has been a pleasant surprise through three weeks, catching 15 of his 18 targets for 136 yards through three games. The rookie has impressed thus far as he has carved out a sizable role in the Browns' passing attack, making him a solid starting tight end in most fantasy leagues going forward. In Week 4, he will head on the road to take on the Detroit Lions.
