Utah Mammoth forward Alex Kerfoot (lower body) is in danger of missing the start of the season. The team announced on Friday that Kerfoot is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Kerfoot has been an ironman, missing only one game over the past five seasons. However, the injury bug has finally caught up with him. The 31-year-old is a solid bottom-six forward who registered 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) in 81 appearances last term. Offseason signing Brandon Tanev may pick up more ice time with Kerfoot unavailable.--Taavi Pailk
