New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Volpe is returning to the field after missing each of the last six games due to a lingering shoulder injury. The Yankees have remained committed to Volpe at shortstop despite his struggles both at the plate and defensively this season. It's unclear if Volpe is going to be the long-term solution at shortstop, but for now he's going to remain the starter. He's not someone that must be rostered right now given his struggles. His power and speed give him some value, but he has been awful against right-handed pitching this season.--Andy Webb
