Los Angeles Chargers left tackle Rashawn Slater (knee) suffered a season-ending injury to his knee in training camp practice on Thursday and will undergo surgery to fix a ruptured patella tendon, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Slater will be placed on season-ending Injured Reserve after just signing a four-year, $113 million extension last month. The 26-year-old offensive lineman was carted off the field on Thursday after injuring his left knee.
