Jordan Love to Play on Saturday Against Jets
Jordan Love will play in the preseason opener on Saturday against the New York Jets, according to Zach Jacobson of 247 Sports. LaFleur said the team will do their best to give all four QBs meaningful reps in the first preseason game this weekend. Love will probably see a series or two before giving way to Malik Willis, Sean Clifford and Taylor Elgersma. Even though receiver Christian Watson (knee) could miss half of the season while rehabbing a torn ACL, Love will have plenty of targets in the passing game after the Packers added Matthew Golden in the first round in April. The 26-year-old took a slight step back in 2024 with 3,389 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 15 regular-season starts. Love is a QB2 in fantasy with upside.
