Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Shane McClanahan (triceps) threw a bullpen on Sunday and "all went well," according to Rays manager Kevin Cash. Cash also mentioned there is no timetable for McClanahan's return, but that imaging showed that everything is structurally in place and the left-hander is feeling good. McClanahan sustained this triceps injury in spring training, and it's likely he will still require a handful of bullpens, live BP sessions, and a few rehab starts. Outside of his seven innings in spring training this year, McClanahan has not pitched in live action since 2023, making holding onto him a bit difficult, considering his expected return date is late July or early August.
