Sincere McCormick 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Injuries Could Skyrocket Value
Sincere McCormick, albeit for a short time, was a rare bright spot. While he appeared in just five games, starting in two, McCormick made the most of his opportunity. He gained 183 yards on 39 carries, averaging a healthy 4.7 yards per rushing attempt. What makes it more impressive is that he did it behind a shoddy offensive line. According to Pro Football Network, Las Vegas ranked 22nd in the NFL in run block win rate in 2024. As a result, the Raiders showed a willingness to improve the offensive line this offseason, signing veteran guard Alex Cappa and drafting guard Caleb Rodgers and tackle Charles Grant. However, the possibility of an expanded role for McCormick in 2025 is no longer realistic. First-round pick Ashton Jeanty is in town to collect the lion's share of the carries, and free-agent acquisition Raheem Mostert will likely handle third downs. If those two are healthy, McCormick will be limited to early-down scraps. However, McCormick would immediately become a viable flex option if Jeanty were injured. Outside of deep leagues and a handcuff to Jeanty, McCormick is a running back to monitor in upcoming drafts and comes in at RB74 in the latest RotoBaller rankings.
