Malik Willis 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Deep-League Superflex Injury Stash
Malik Willis will enter the 2025 season as the clear backup to franchise quarterback Jordan Love, meaning he's nowhere near the fantasy football radar in single-QB setups. However, the former Tennessee Titans third-round pick can be stashed in deeper superflex formats. In these leagues, multiple backup signal-callers are rostered due to the scarcity of the position. In two starts in relief of an injured Love last year, Willis completed over 75% of his passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, he racked up 114 yards and a score, averaging 9.5 yards per carry. His dual-threat skill set helped him average 19.2 fantasy points in his Week 2 and Week 3 contests, which put him in the mid-level QB1 range. While he likely wouldn't produce consistent QB1 numbers in a longer-team starting role, he would be viable in superflex and two-QB leagues if Love gets banged up again.
