Aldrich Potgieter missed the cut at St. Andrews in 2022 as an amateur. The South African golfer won the amateur version of The Open Championship that year. Potgeiter did win his first event on the PGA Tour in June at the 2025 Rocket Classic. He defeated Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk in a playoff. It was the second playoff Potgieter competed in. His ability off the tee is one of the best on tour in 2025. Potgieter drives the ball a whopping 328.2 yards on average. However, his trajectory is troubling and so is his 55.78% driving accuracy (135th). It is one reason why his odds on missing the cut have gone from plus territory to -120 in the last couple weeks. Potgieter may even be one to stay away from in DFS formats. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
