Cole Carrigg Tallies RBI No. 30
Cole Carrigg went 1-for-4 with a grand slam during their contest against Double-A Binghamton on Friday. Through the season's opening month, Carrigg has tallied 30 RBI, the second-most in the Eastern League, only behind Jorge Burgos of the Cleveland Guardians. Through 33 contests, the backstop has posted a .252/355/.521 slash line with four doubles, two triples, eight home runs, and a 40:14 K:BB. The 23-year-old has also made an impact on the basepaths, swiping nine bags. Last season, the No. 3-ranked spent the most of his campaign at High-A Spokane where he held a .280/.358/.475 slash line with 16 doubles, 16 long balls, and 51 stolen bases. Given his steady production at Double-A, Carrigg should be in the mix to reach Triple-A in the second half of the campaign.
