Harrison Bader Still Absent On Friday
Harrison Bader (groin) remains out of the starting lineup for Friday's series opener at American Family Field against the hosting Milwaukee Brewers. Bader will miss his second straight game after tweaking his groin in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles while trying to make a play in right field. Willi Castro is starting in left field on Friday and will hit fifth, while Kody Clemens draws into the lineup at second base while batting out of the six-hole for the Twins. The Twins are short-handed in the outfield heading into their weekend series with both Bader and Byron Buxton (head) injured. It's unclear if Bader is a candidate to land on the injured list, but he's been a contributor both on offense and defense so far in his first season in Minnesota, hitting a healthy .300 with four homers, 18 RBI, 16 runs and four steals in 110 at-bats.
