Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin ended Sunday's AdventHealth 400 in the 36th position after car issues ended what was a solid top-10 day. Hamlin's starting position was 14th, but he played around with pit strategy to get fresher tires during green flag pit stops. This worked out in Hamlin's behavior as he drove his car to seventh and earned stage points at the end of the first stage. In the second stage, Hamlin continued to run inside the top 10 and despite making contact with Zane Smith and Alex Bowman in a three-wide battle, Hamlin continued with no problems. Despite making it as high as second before pitting, Hamlin ended the second stage in the eighth position and collected a few more stage points. Unfortunately, Hamlin started experiencing issues with the clutch on his car during the third stage, and by lap 200, he had a mechanical failure that sent him to the garage. Hamlin was credited with a DNF and a finish of 36th, marking his second consecutive race of 2025 with mechanical issues.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
