Agustin Ramirez Hits Two Doubles On Tuesday
Agustin Ramirez went 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, and a walk during their 4-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday evening. Ramirez made his MLB debut on Monday and has enjoyed an impressive start to his MLB career. Over his first two games, Ramirez has gone 5-for-6 with three doubles, two walks, one stolen base, and no strikeouts. Given his impressive start, fantasy managers should expect the No. 4-ranked prospect in the Miami system to continue to see the majority of starts behind the dish. Earlier in the season, Ramirez held a solid .252/.313/.479 slash line with seven doubles and three long balls in just 19 games. Last season, Ramirez hit 25 home runs and swiped 22 bags in 126 MiLB games. Given his five-category upside at the catcher position, he should be viewed as a strong option in standard formats heading into his matchup on Wednesday against Cincinnati right-hander Brady Singer.
