Mark Scheifele Scores Twice On Thursday
Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele found the back of the net twice during their victory over the Boston Bruins on Thursday evening. Scheifele tallied his first goal in the opening frame on a tip-in. Later in the third, Scheifele would score on the power-play, which would eventually serve as the game-winner. Scheifele also added a blocked shot in this game, with three total shots on goal. This performance extended his point streak to three games. Over his past 12 games, the 31-year-old has found the back of the net eight times and added five helpers. Overall, Scheifele has enjoyed a fantastic season, tallying 31 goals with 28 assists across just 53 games. He is on pace to set a new career-high in points and goals and remains a must-start player in all fantasy formats.
