Ben Griffin has started off 2025 on a bit of a roller coaster. The American golfer did net a Top 10 (T-7) at The American Express. However, at the Farmers Insurance Open, Griffin never got on track and missed the cut. That included a 77 on Thursday as the conditions clearly impacted his golf game. January has not been the best month so far as his putting has been a bit average. Last year, Griffin ranked 52nd in strokes gained to putting at 0.238 and averaged 28.78 putts per round. That number jumped up to 29.3 in January and his one-putt percentage dropped to 36.67% (40.13% in 2024).
