The New England Patriots D/ST should be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17. While the Bolts' offense ranks near the middle of the league, the Patriots' defense has been one of the worst this year, especially in fantasy football. They did hold the Buffalo Bills to 18 points and one turnover last week, but they rank 27th in terms of fantasy points and have looked poor against even some of the league's weaker teams. Further downgrading the Patriots D/ST is the fact that the Chargers have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing defenses in 2024.
