Viktor Hovland missed the cut at last week's U.S. Open, which was his second missed cut in his last five tournaments. It's interesting to note that his only other missed cut was back in April at the Masters Tournament. Despite missing the cut at the U.S. Open, Hovland performed well in the second round, carding a 68. He is now shifting his focus to preparing for this week's Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. This will be his fourth appearance at the Travelers Championship, having finished T29 in 2023 and T11 in 2020. It's worth noting that at last year's Travelers Championship, over 33% of approach shots came from 100-150 yards. Over the past 12 months, Hovland ranks in the 69th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots in the fairway from this distance. While he missed the cut at the U.S. Open, he could still be worth considering for DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
