ANALYSIS: Toronto Blue Jays third base/outfield prospect Addison Barger recently made his major league debut in April but has been sent back down to Triple-A. However, he has been performing quite well and could find himself back at the major league level fairly soon.
Through 24 games at Triple-A Buffalo this season, Barger has posted a .279/.410/.512 line with three home runs and a stellar 18:17 BB:K ratio.
The 24-year-old saw time at Triple-A last season but did not show as much power, with only nine home runs in 88 games and much worse plate discipline with a 52:86 BB:K ratio.
Even though Barger struggled in his small taste of the major leagues with just one hit in five games, he has dominated Triple-A pitching and should be one of the first names promoted from the system when the Blue Jays make the call.

The Blue Jays have relied on Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Ernie Clement to split duties at the hot corner. However, if the Blue Jays are looking to add a spark to their offense at that position, Barger could get the job done.
Barger is worth stashing in deeper mixed leagues and AL-Only formats.
