DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Goalies

Ivan Prosvetov - DK $6.5K || FD $6.5K

Opponent - Winnipeg Jets

At this point in the season, Colorado goalies cannot be trusted and despite that notion, possible starter Ivan Prosvetov is the highlighted goalie. The young netminder has struggled this season along with every other goalie in the Colorado net. More specifically, in his last five starts, he has a 2-2 record with a 4.00 Goals Against Average and a 0.866 Save Percentage.

The only reason Prosvetov made the article is due to his friendly salary, sitting at $6.5K on DraftKings and the poor play of teammate Alexandar Georgiev that may result in the latter getting benched. Even if Prosvetov is to start and concedes two or three goals, his save volume alone should generate enough value at his salary point.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Bobrovsky (DK $8.2K || FD $8.3K)
  • Demko (DK $8K || FD $8.1K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Elias Lindholm - DK $4.1K || FD $5.8K

Opponent - Vancouver Canucks

Ever since Elias Lindholm returned from injury, he has been dominating on every shift. In the five games since returning, he has two goals, two assists, 12 shots, and five blocked shots. Lindholm also has the best possible matchup for Vancouver in this series against Nashville, barring any line matchup changes throughout the series.

Lastly, in Nashville’s final 10 games of the regular season, they were one of the worst defensive teams in the league. In Per 60 stats, excluding splits, the Predators were the ninth worst in Scoring Chances Against, the seventh worst in Scoring Chances Against, and the fifth worst in both Shots Against and Goals Against.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Trocheck (DK $6.5K || FD $7.6K)
  • Bennett (DK $4.8K || FD $6K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Zach Parise - DK $3.5K || FD $4.3K

Opponent - Winnipeg Jets

This is it for Zach Parise after the winger announced his retirement in the final game of the regular season. Whether that translates to him going hard in his final games as an NHL player or not remains unknown. However, his salary is barely above the minimum salary on DraftKings and playing alongside Nathan MacKinnon makes Parise the top value player on the slate. With teammate and winger Jonathan Drouin out for the first round, Parise has taken over. In his first game since doing so, Parise generated two shots and one blocked shot. If he can start producing points, he may very well stay on the top line when Drouin does return.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Panarin (DK $8.7K || FD $10.1K)
  • Tarasenko (DK $4.9K || FD $5.7K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Josh Morrissey - DK $5.6K || FD $7K

Opponent - Colorado Avalanche

During the postseason, slates become much smaller, demanding to be "different" in lineup construction. One way to be different is by paying up for a defenseman, starting with Winnipeg blueliner, Josh Morrissey. In Morrissey’s last five appearances -- one playoff game -- he has two goals, six assists, six shots, and seven blocked shots. In his first game of the postseason against Colorado, Morrissey generated one goal, one assist, two shots, and five blocked shots. This series against Colorado is expected to continue its fast-paced, goal-fest style of play. Expect Morrissey to produce two shots, one block, and two assists.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • McDonagh (DK $3.7K || FD $4.7K)
  • Raddysh (DK $3.4K || FD $4.3K)
