The San Francisco 49ers D/ST unit will face the Los Angeles Rams at home on Sunday. Both teams are already locked into their respective playoff positions, so the Week 18 matchup is meaningless. From a personnel standpoint, the degree to which San Francisco rests its defensive starters is unclear. It's hard to trust a fantasy D/ST unit that might rest key players and who will be less motivated than usual. A defense with no fire in its belly could also struggle to force turnovers and sacks.
