DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 12/19/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/19/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have a pretty busy slate for the week before Christmas. We have eight games on tap for tonight. The Jumpman Invitational gets started in Charlotte, so you know we at least have one good game! We start this off a little bit earlier tonight with Morehead State in Bloomington to take on the Hoosiers and Georgetown heading to historic Hinkle Fieldhouse to take on Butler.

The normal start time features the Jumpman matchup between Florida and Michigan. We also have Virginia heading to Memphis for a top-25 tilt. Western Carolina heads to Nashville to take on Vandy. Troy is in Oxford to take on Ole Miss. Winthrop heads to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. We end this with a Big East showdown in Providence with Marquette paying a visit.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/19/23, starting at 6:30 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Vonterius Woolbright, Western Carolina ($9,200)

It's a mid-major against an SEC school, but Woolbright is so vital to the team that he's still going to put up numbers. He has topped 40 DraftKings points in eight of the 10 games and has hit that mark in each of the last six. We don't really have a barometer for Western Carolina, but they did beat Notre Dame earlier this year. Notre Dame and Vanderbilt are pretty close to the same level. Woolbright put up 41.75 DraftKings points in that one, so he feels pretty safe.

Reece Beekman, Virginia ($8,000)

The lockdown defender has developed into an offensive weapon as well this season. Beekman has reached double figures in seven of Virginia's 10 games so far this season after only hitting that mark in 16 of 32 games last season. This is all while carrying his worst three-point shooting percentage since his freshman year of 2020-21. If that percentage comes back up, his ceiling is even higher than it is now.

Will Richard, Florida ($6,400)

Richard had a slow and inconsistent November, but he has put up three good games in December. Richard has 36 points, 23 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks, and three steals in the three games this month. The one game coming off the bench against Wake served as a wake-up call for Richard. The Gators are a guard-oriented team anyway. If they can get this continued production out of Richard, they will be even better heading into SEC play.

TJ Caldwell, Mississippi ($3,900)

Caldwell is instant offense off the bench for the Rebels. He is averaging 9.6 points per game on the season but has scored 34 over the last three games. Caldwell's scoring prowess gives him double figures even if he does nothing else in his time on the court. Finding a stable value play is a difficult thing to do in DFS. Caldwell doesn't have a huge ceiling, but that sure floor is what I'm after.

Also consider: Riley Minix, Morehead State ($8,800); Allen Flanigan, Mississippi ($8,200); Christyon Eugene, Troy ($7,700); Jahvon Quinerly, Memphis ($7,400); Posh Alexander, Butler ($7,000); Jordan Lathon, Morehead State ($6,600); Kalil Thomas, Morehead State ($5,700); Chase Ross, Marquette ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Kel'el Ware, Indiana ($8,600)

Ware has seen consistent minutes throughout the season, even in blowout losses. The Hoosiers haven't had a blowout win yet, so we don't really know if Ware will be pulled or not in this one. Morehead State marks the easiest opponent the Hoosiers have faced so far. Ware should be able to get a double-double due to his ability to dominate the post in this game. The Eagles don't have anyone that can guard him one-on-one.

Ismael Massoud, Georgetown ($6,800)

The price on Massoud is starting to get a little high for me. We know that Massoud can have big games. He's the guy that kept Kansas State afloat in the NCAA Tournament last season. However, he's still inconsistent as a scorer. We need that extra 10 points from scoring with Massoud priced this high. He has a good matchup here, but I'm starting to get nervous with a big price hike this week.

Mackenzie Mgbako, Indiana ($5,800)

The freshman has had some ups and downs this year, but he has been rather consistent with the scoring lately. Mgbako has scored in double figures in all five games since joining the starting lineup against Harvard. He's still learning and sometimes gets himself into foul trouble, but a strong showing against Kansas is intriguing enough for me to chase in what will be his easiest assignment as a starter.

Will Tschetter, Michigan ($4,000)

Tschetter started over Tarris Reed Jr. last week. The Wolverines haven't announced if this is permanent or not, but it hardly matters. Reed's and Tschetter's minutes were about the same as their season averages even though their roles were reversed. Tschetter has proven to be a strong rebounder off the bench and an efficient scorer in the flow of the offense. His price is too low whether he starts or not.

Also consider: David Jones, Memphis ($8,700); Olivier Nkamhoua, Michigan ($7,700); Jaemyn Brakefield, Mississippi ($7,000); Malik Reneau, Indiana ($6,700); Tarris Reed Jr., Michigan ($5,900); Micah Handlogten, Florida ($5,300); Andre Screen, Butler ($4,700); Moussa Cisse, Mississippi ($4,300)
