Bubba Wallace is one of the last 12 remaining drivers in this year's Playoffs, and he almost locked himself into the Round of 8 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon. Bubba won the pole for this year's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 and led a race-high 111 laps but ended up finishing in third at the end of it. Bubba had his No. 23 Toyota in position to win and subsequently lock himself in to the next round but didn't have the best restart at the end. "I just choked. I had my worst restart," Wallace said after the race. "I hate it for my team. You have to go out there and fight for it and not give it away. I gave it away. This one is going to sting a little bit." With two races remaining in the Round of 12, Bubba is two points below the cut line.--Jordan McAbee
