Charlie Blackmon Could Return To The Rockies Next Season
Charlie Blackmon could potentially return to the team next season, according to beat writer Patrick Saunders. Saunders wrote in an article that the team is "very interested" in a new deal for the 37-year-old veteran. Blackmon has put together a decent season when he's been on the field this year. He's slashing .285/.372/.463 with seven home runs and 31 RBI over 246 at-bats but missed two months of action with a right-hand fracture. He's spent his entire 13-year career with the Rockies so the organization likely appreciates his veteran presence and leadership if they are interested in bringing him back.
