Trey Yesavage Moving to Triple-A
Trey Yesavage to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, a source tells MLB.com's Keegan Matheson. It will be the fourth different minor-league stop for Yesavage this year after he began the 2025 season in Single-A. The 22-year-old former first-round pick and the team's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has been great at three different stops this year with a combined 5-1 record, 3.01 ERA and 0.93 WHIP with 134 strikeouts and only 30 walks in 80 2/3 innings over 19 appearances (18 starts). Matheson also adds that Yesavage could be in consideration for a September call-up when rosters expand if the Blue Jays want to have their 14 best pitchers in the system on their roster for the final month of the regular season. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder has plus pitches in his fastball, slider and splitter.
