Michigan NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the FireKeepers Casino 400 race on Sunday afternoon.

The field was split into two groups for this practice session. The first group was significantly faster than the second group due to track conditions.

Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Corey LaJoie - Corey LaJoie spun during practice. He didn't get any significant damage.

Noah Gragson - Noah Gragson has been suspended by Legacy Motor Club for the foreseeable future. Josh Berry will be driving the No. 42 Chevrolet this weekend.

Austin Hill - Austin Hill will be racing this weekend in the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet. This team only races a handful of events per year but is a step above the shitboxes in terms of speed.
