Yandy Diaz To Return On Friday
Yandy Diaz (groin) will be in the lineup on Friday against the Houston Astros as the designated hitter and will avoid an injured-list stint due to groin tightness. Diaz was forced from Tuesday's game against the Marlins with a left-groin injury and sat out on Wednesday, but he's apparently feeling better after the team's off day on Thursday. The 31-year-old has been a must-start all year for fantasy managers, so you'll want to get him back in there on Friday as he faces Astros right-hander Cristian Javier. Diaz is batting .318/.401/.508 with a .909 OPS, 14 home runs, 49 RBI and 60 runs scored in 327 at-bats. His .401 on-base percentage leads the league.
