Tony Gonsolin Likely To Start On Wednesday
Tony Gonsolin (ankle) is likely to start on Wednesday against the Pittsburg Pirates, according to manager Dave Roberts. The 28-year-old righty has yet to make his season debut while dealing with an ankle injury but he was pulled from his rehab assignment early and is currently with the Dodgers in Chicago as they wrap up their series with the Cubs. Gonsolin was excellent last season, posting a 2.14 ERA and 0.87 WHIP to go along with 119 strikeouts over 130 1/3 innings (24 starts). It'll take a little time for him to get stretched out but fantasy managers should get ready to start him if they've been stashing him.
