PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 5.

Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks

Aaron Gordon OVER 16.5 Points - I'll start things off with Aaron Gordon's points prop. Gordon has hit this number in just two of his last five and seven of his last ten. He draws a decent matchup against the Clippers tonight who rank 19th in points allowed to power forwards over the course of the season. My model projects Gordon for 19.8 points tonight, so we're getting solid value on this number.
Al Horford OVER 5.5 Rebounds - I'll take a look at Al Horford's rebounds prop next. Similar to Gordon, Horford has hit this number in two of five but has hit this in seven of his last ten. While the Mavericks have been tough on the glass over the course of the season against centers, coming in fifth in rebounds allowed to the position, they've struggled of late, ranking 28th in rebounds allowed over the last seven days. My model projects Horford for 8.4 rebounds tonight, so we're getting really solid value on this number as well.
Jamal Murray OVER 5.5 Assists - I'll look at another Nuggets player to wrap things up with Jamal Murray's assists. Murray hit this number in three of his last five and seven of his last ten. He draws a good matchup against the Clippers who rank 24th in assists allowed to point guards over the course of the season and dead last at 30th over the last seven days. I'll look for Murray to have a repeat performance of November 25th, when he logged nine assists against the Clips, and my model projects him for 7.3 assists in this one.
