Cale Makar had a great game in Tampere, Finland in the finale of the Global Series between his Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, tallying three assists, four shots, a hit, a block, and a plus-four rating. After a "slow" start where he tallied seven points in his first eight games, the stud blueliner has put up six points in his last three games to calm any nerves fantasy managers may have had about Makar not living up to his first-round ADP. On the season, he now has one goal, 12 assists, seven powerplay points, 31 SOG, 16 hits, and 22 blocks. He will likely finish the season as one of the top five fantasy D-men, and could easily finish as the number one.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
