Derek Carr, Darren Waller Limited On Wednesday
Derek Carr (back) and tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Carr is dealing with what sounds to be a minor back injury, so as long as he doesn't suffer a setback later this week, he should be good to play in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints and their beat up secondary. Carr threw only one TD pass in Week 7 while running back Josh Jacobs ran for three scores, but he'll be on the QB1/2 borderline this week, especially if he gets Waller back. Waller has missed the last two games but could be on track to play this Sunday. The 30-year-old has disappointed in four games so far as a high-end TE1, though, catching 16 of 24 targets for 175 yards and one touchdown.
