Ezekiel Elliott Likely To Miss Week 8
Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is dealing with a sprained right knee and is likely to miss the Week 8 game against the Chicago Bears. Elliott missed practice on Wednesday, and with a bye next week, holding him out would allow him another week's worth of rest. He's coming off a two-touchdown performance in the Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions, and he has 109 carries for 443 yards and four touchdowns so far in 2022. Tony Pollard would see the lion's share of backfield work this weekend if Elliott doesn't play. Pollard has been more efficient and explosive than Elliott this year, averaging 5.6 yards per carry, which ranks ninth among NFL RBs. Pollard is looking like a must-start in fantasy on Sunday if Elliott is indeed out.
