Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Mason Jones led the way in Tuesday's Summer League victory over the Clippers with a team-best 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. While Jones shot just 4-for-10 from the floor overall, his offensive aggressiveness led to a 6-for-8 showing from the free-throw stripe. In addition to delivering a team-high +19 plus-minus during his time on the floor, Jones also added four assists for an all-around impressive performance. The 23-year-old appeared in just four games off the bench last season for L.A., notching a combined 27 points. An undrafted free agent out of Arkansas, Jones faces an uphill battle to a roster spot with the Lakers, but Tuesday's outing was a step in the right direction.--Jesse BorekRead More News
