Wander Franco Removed From Saturday's Game
Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco left Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with discomfort in his right hand and wrist. Franco felt discomfort after his first at-bat and left before taking the field. This would be another tough break for the up-and-coming star, who came back from a quadricep injury on June 26th. Testing will be done Monday to determine the severity of the injury, meaning he won't be in the lineup tomorrow. Franco had been riding a 10-game hit streak and seemed to be picking it up at the dish, so hopefully this isn't another long-term injury.
