Jabari Smith Jr. Collects 10 Points In Summer League Debut
Jabari Smith Jr. logged his first minutes of game action Thursday since being chosen with the third overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. His debut featured going for 10 points on 4-for-10 shooting, along with notching seven boards and three assists. He took something of an offensive side role to the workings of Josh Christopher and Tari Eason, but the 19-year-old played a team-best 31 minutes in the defeat. Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. figure to also command significant offensive attention early in '22-23 for Houston, although Smith stands to fill the void of scoring thump on the wing.
