Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk pushed his hitting streak to four consecutive games on Monday as the Blue Jays routed the Kansas City Royals 8-0 in the series opener. Kirk is quietly becoming one of the most dependable players in terms of getting on base in baseball this year. Kirk ranks in the top 6% of all hitters in xBA and the top 8% of all hitters with a .374 wOBA. Kirk is also doing a good job of putting the ball in play this season, producing just a 9% strikeout rate (top 2% among all MLB hitters).--JasonHirsch
