Jeremy Ruckert Slowed By Foot Injury
Jeremy Ruckert (foot) has been dealing with a foot injury and will be re-evaluated this week, but head coach Robert Saleh said the team is "hoping" he'll be able to get in some work this spring during organized team activities. The Jets brought in both C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin at the position in free agency this offseason, so Ruckert figures to serve as valuable depth at tight end in his rookie season in New York. If he's forced to miss workouts this spring, that would cause him to miss valuable developmental time before training camp as well. Ruckert won't be a rookie tight end to target in redraft fantasy leagues in 2022.
