Gabriel Arias Undergoes Hand Surgery On Thursday
Gabriel Arias (hand) underwent surgery on his right hand on Thursday. The 22-year-old fractured the fifth metacarpal on his right hand this past Sunday. Following the surgery, he is expected to return to action in six-to-eight weeks. Arias was hitting .197/.269/.380 over 17 games at Triple-A prior to the injury. He made his MLB debut with the Guardians this year, but only played in two games before being sent down.
