Byron Buxton Back In Action Against Royals
Byron Buxton (knee) is back in the starting lineup on Thursday, serving as the designated hitter and hitting leadoff against Kansas City Royals right-hander Zack Greinke. Buxton left last Friday's game with a knee injury, but he didn't suffer any structural damage and avoided a trip to the injured list. Injuries have consistently derailed the 28-year-old's career, but thankfully for fantasy managers, they'll be able to get the power-speed threat back into their starting lineups on Thursday. Buxton is hitting .250 (6-for-24) with three home runs, four RBI, five runs scored and a steal in his first seven games of the season. He's a must-start whenever he's in the lineup.
